For your convenience, ISC Group offers depot repair services for your StorageTek SL500 Tape Library and drives. 

Our depot repair center staff has the ability to service and repair virtually all issues with your StorageTek SL500 tape library and StorageTek SL500 tape drives.

All you have to do is ship your STK SL500 tape library, power supply, SL500 tape drive, picker assembly, or another StorageTek SL500 tape library part into ISC Group. 

We complete all the work in our San Diego, CA facility. Most depot repairs are returned within five business days of receipt. All completed repairs are tested in our Lab to ensure their proper functioning.

We will evaluate it, determine the issue and provide an estimate for repair.

ISC Group can get a field engineer on-site fast, for repairs, and service of your SL500 Tape Library and drives. In order to minimize the downtime of your STK SL500 Library, we offer on-site maintenance 24/7.

STORAGETEK SL500 TAPE LIBRARY INFORMATION

The StorageTek SL500 Tape Library System helps you accelerate consolidation and support applications such as e-mail, databases, and file servers. The STK SL500 scales from 30 to 575 LTO slots with a maximum capacity of more than 862 TB of uncompressed data. It allows as many as 18 tape drives with a native throughput rate of more than 7 TB per hour. The StorageTek SL500 Modular Library System also helps you save time, space, and energy by consolidating multiple libraries and applications into a central location. The SL500 can be used for rack-based D2D2T solutions, when combined with Sun Storage Archive Manager and Sun Storage 6000 arrays. Simple library upgrades extend the useful life of the equipment and preserve your investment.

The robotic mechanism of the SL500 library maintains reliability, regardless of the number of expansion modules, and helps increase the stability and predictability of backups. Redundant, hot-swappable components, such as power supplies and fans, minimize disruption. The advanced digital vision system automatically calibrates the library to reduce wear and tear on the cartridge, drive, and robot. Standard interfaces and the library control software enable resource sharing, by connecting to other devices across Solaris, Windows, UNIX, or Linux environments.
