With up to 80 slots and 32 terabytes of native capacity and enterprise-class reliability, the StorageTek L80 Tape Library is ideal for mid-size to larger-size Windows NT, Novell, Linux and UNIX environments with data-dense, throughput-intensive requirements. The StorageTek L80 single-unit design takes up less physical space than competing rack-and-stack solutions. The STK L80 tape library’s plug-and-play data protection provides hot-swappable tape drives, fans and redundant power for ultimate high availability. The StorageTek L80 Tape Library can easily be upgraded by adding drives, increasing the number of tape slots or the addition of a fiber channel router. The STK L80 also provides remote monitoring and management capabilities through a web-based remote diagnostic tool that helps reduce operational costs and enhance reliability.
