The StorageTek BladeStore B210 & B220 Disk Array Systems feature up to 75 terabytes of reliable, cost-effective storage to meet the needs of mid-size enterprise applications, including scalability, data access, storage density, security and affordability. Workgroups get fast access to fixed digital content because data files are kept on high-speed disk rather than tape or optical disk. Data security is enhanced because the B210 / B220 blade system makes it easy and affordable to store copies of data, conduct non-disruptive backups, and accelerate disaster recovery. StorageTek’s Intelligent BladeStore Architecture (IBA) makes disk storage affordable, packing multiple cost-effective ATA disks on high performance blades in a disk system that configures and manages multiple disks with the same efficient methods used in the D-Series™ disk arrays family.

The StorageTek BladeStore B210 & B220 system is designed delivers “pay as you grow” scalability. It features four 2-gigabit-per-second fiber channel host ports, four 2-gigabit fiber channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) drive paths, and up to six B250 disk arrays for storage capacity that scales from 6.25 to 75 terabytes. You can add a terabyte of storage to your enterprise at any time, so you’ll use only the storage capacity you need.
