The EMC / CLARiiON AX4-5 Storage Array series consists of the AX4-5F, and the AX4-5I disk arrays. They are designed to provide you with advanced data management features, by using their powerful Intel Xeon processors to combine simplicity, and scalability into one user centric storage solution.
The EMC AX4-5 can support up to 64 hosts and up to 60 drives, utilizing its ability to have four expansion enclosures. This ensures that your Storage Array is future proofed in order to keep up with your business’s data growth. The AX4-5F, and the AX4-5I, allow for flexible connectivity options that cater to your storage needs.
The EMC / Clariion AX4-5 iSCSI arrays support 1Gbit IP networks, and the AX4-5 Fibre Channel disk arrays utilize 4Gbit connections. With both the EMC AX4-5F, and the EMC AX4-5I, allowing you to mix up to 60 SAS drives, or SATA drives to meet any range of IT needs.
